Fallon was taken on as a junior by Celtic, and soon was promoted to cover for the famous eccentric keeper Frank Haffey.
 

US PILOTS could be banned from taking part in Irish airshows.

Councillor Catherine Connolly, failed Dail hopeful for a seat in Galway West, wants the government to stop the US Air Force's Thunderbirds aerobatic team from flying in this year's Salthill Show.

She said the participation of pilots who have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan was "an affront to Irish neutrality".

And she warned antiwar an·ti·war  
adj.
Opposed to war or to a particular war: antiwar protests; an antiwar candidate. 
 activists should march on the show. She added: "The Salthill air show should be a celebration of aviation, not a celebration of war."
