'NUNSENSE' OPENS AT GUILD.Byline: Daily News NEWHALL - The Little Sisters of Hoboken have returned to the Canyon Theatre Guild Theatre Guild U.S. theatrical society. Founded in New York City in 1918 by Lawrence Langner (1890–1962) and others, the group proposed to produce high-quality, noncommercial plays. for the original version of `'Nunsense,'' running through Aug. 21. Winner of four Outer Critics' Circle Awards, including Best Off- Broadway Musical, in its original New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of production, ``Nunsense'' became an international hit and continues to be one of America's favorite musicals after 20 years. ``Nunsense'' tells the story of a group of nuns who stage a fundraiser to bury sisters accidentally poisoned by the convent's cook. Jymn Magon is the director; Damien D'Entremont, assistant director; Erin Rivlin-Sakata, vocal director; and Musette Caing, choreography. The cast includes Laurie Morgan Laurie Morgan is a Deputy of the States of Guernsey. He was Guernsey's first Chief Minister and was elected to the post in May 2004. His term of office was due to expire in 2008, when the next General Election is due. as Mother Superior, Sister Mary Regina; Leslie Berra as Sister Mary Hubert, the Mistress of Novices; Lori D'Itri, Sister Mary Amnesia (she can't remember her name); Jennifer Rennels-Magon, Sister Robert Anne; and Melissa Joy Castro, Sister Mary Leo Dame Sister Mary Leo (Kathleen Agnes Niccol), DBE (1895–1989) is well known for training some of the world's finest sopranos, including Dames Malvina Major and Kiri Te Kanawa. She was born in Auckland, New Zealand. , the Novice. ``Nunsense'' will be presented at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays at the theater, 24242 San Fernando Road San Fernando Road is a major street in the city and county of Los Angeles. It starts off in Castaic as The Old Road, passing through Santa Clarita and the Newhall Pass, where upon its intersection with Sierra Highway near the junction of the Golden State (I-5) and the , Newhall.
