"Next year, we plan on constructing approximately 340 to 350 projects domestically, which will add 59 million square feet at a cost of $3 billion." He also spoke of the company's supplier development program designed to expand its base of women and minority-owned suppliers, pointing out, "Our participation in PWC provides us with an excellent opportunity to meet new women and minority-owned business professionals and to enhance our existing relationships." Angela Billinghurst, assistant project manager with Tishman Construction Corporation of New York, a sponsor/exhibitor, and the owner's representative for the New York Jets stadium explained, "This is an opportunity for us to reach out to the W/MBEs as prime contractors and subcontractors." Tishman, the construction manager for the Goldman Sachs headquarters in Battery Park City, is also currently seeking W/MBE participation for the project. Annabella Molina of Cushman & Wakefield, assistant property manager for the JP Morgan Chase account, and a guest of honor, spoke of 1 Chase Manhattan Plaza, a 60-story high building and 75 Wall Street, a 374,000 s/f project, seeking W/MBE participation in maintenance for the buildings. Molina noted that Cushman & Wakefield is "a strong supporter of diversity. We encourage W/MBEs." She pointed out later that helping women and minorities "helps the whole industry."
