'Media district' welcomes radio co.

Radiovisa provides long- and short-form talk, news, and entertainment programming for Spanish language radio stations nationwide.

The company's move resulted from an expansion of its operations to the East Coast from its headquarters in the Sherman Oaks community of Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. .

"250 West 57th is an ideal property for media firms that want to be in a conveniently located, well-managed, and high-quality business facility," says Mr. Zeller. "Radiovisa's lease signing is yet another indication that word of the building's advantages is spreading."

Andrew Ross and Brendl Frey of Cushman & Wakefield represented Radiovisa in the lease negotiations. The landlord's attorney was David Bleckner, Esq., and the tenant's was an in-house attorney.

A $30 million capital improvement program was recently concluded at the building.

Developments in the Columbus Circle Columbus Circle, named for Christopher Columbus, is a major landmark and point of attraction in the New York City borough of Manhattan. Completed in 1905 and renovated a century later, it is located at the intersection of Broadway, Central Park West, Central Park South (59th  area have transformed it into a magnet for media and entertainment companies.

The world headquarters of Time Warner, Random House and Hearst Corporation, for example, are all in the area.
