The event supports Susan G. Komen for the Cure Susan G. Komen for the Cure, formerly known as The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, is an organization supporting breast cancer research. Since its inception in 1982, Komen has invested nearly $1 billion in research, education and health services, making it the Houston Affiliate. Lance O'Pry, Houston regional developer for Massage Envy, said every Houston-area Massage Envy clinic will be fully staffed with licensed massage therapists, "and every penny collected will be donated do·nate v. do·nat·ed, do·nat·ing, do·nates v.tr. To present as a gift to a fund or cause; contribute. v.intr. To make a contribution to a fund or cause. to the Houston Komen affiliate."
