'Made to Measure' Belts.

Charles Walker & Co Ltd, the manufacturers of light industrial conveyor and drive belts, tell us they have opened at their headquarters one of the largest belt supply and service centres in Europe.

This new facility, which opened back in May, offers the facilities for them to produce conveyor belts up to 3m wide. Although most conveyors are, on average, only around 1m wide, they tell us the 3m width allows for the more efficient use of material, particularly during the fabrication of corner conveyor belts.

The new centre, at Walker House, John Escritt Road, Binngley, West Yorkshire, tel:[phone], stocks a range of more than a hundred belt types, at manufactured roll size, from which belts are cut, prepared and supplied.
