Now, Petrucci is on his way to Las Vegas to make an appearance in the original and best celebrity tribute show, Legends In Concert.

"This is a dream come true," Petrucci said. "I'm overwhelmed. I can't wait to bring the King to Las Vegas."

StarStruck is a nationwide contest in Australia that aired on Channel Nine. The show followed the format made popular by American Idol, with the winner being selected by the viewers. Through the efforts of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) is a public agency that runs the Las Vegas Convention Center, Cashman Center, and Cashman Field and is responsible for the advertising campaigns for the Clark County, Nevada area. , producers of StarStruck and Legends In Concert were brought together to give the winner the chance of a lifetime by performing on stage at the Imperial Palace.

Petrucci will appear in the celebrity tribute spectacular April 28 - 30, which will be filmed by Australia's Channel Nine for broadcast to viewers of the country.
