'Lego Big 5' logo unveiled.

As the doors to The Big 5, the leading international building and construction exhibition in the Middle East, get ready to open on Monday Monday: see week. , a "Big 5" logo constructed from Lego has been unveiled at Convention Gate in Dubai World Trade Centre.

Keen to encourage the future generation of construction engineers, The Big 5 worked with Lego and Year 2 children from Horizon School to build the 2m x 1.5m Big 5 logo from over 40,000 Lego bricks.

Reflecting the multi-national reach of The Big 5 show, Horizon children from a variety of nationalities from across the GCC GCC: see Gulf Cooperation Council.

Paula Al Chami, event director of The Big 5, organised by dmg world media, said, 'We loved the idea of bringing together tomorrow's construction engineers with today's construction industry and working with Lego, as one of the world's leading manufacturers of building play materials, was the perfect way to do this.'

'The children took on the job of constructing the Lego Big 5 sculpture with great enthusiasm. I should like to thank Lego for their support in this project in addition to the children at Horizon School for helping us build it! It looks fantastic and everyone should come and see it for themselves at Convention Gate!'
