The mobile collage will be put together by the city based on residents' submissions of photos, paintings or poems - the city asks the items be on standard-sized stationary - or by signing an ``L.A. Remembers'' postcard. All submissions should be received by the city by Sept. 2. The postcards - featuring a heart-shaped emblem cut out of the American flag - will be available at all local fire stations and City Council offices and will be online at www.laremembers.com. After Sept. 11, the collage will be on display at the Fire Department Museum and Memorial in Hollywood.
