'Knife thug' a gardener; APOLOGY.


A JUDGE has ordered a public apology after a gardener was treated like a criminal because of anti-knife laws.

Peter Drew was accused of possessing offensive weapons because he had a scythe scythe

carried by the personification of death, used to cut life short. [Art.: Hall, 276]

The judge kicked the case out and ordered Crown Prosecution Service

He was on his way to a job in Penzance, Cornwall, when he was stopped by police.

Mr Drew said after the case at Truro crown court: "I'm disgusted. The whole thing has knocked me for six."
