'KILL MY WIFE' Husband accused of tr ying to hire hitman is given bail.

lorry driver 
 tried to hire a hitman to kill his estranged wife, a court heard yesterday.

Patrick Rafferty, 38, is accused of soliciting Pat Crowley to murder Mary Rafferty near a pub last year.

Thomas G. (Tom) O'Donnell (born August 30, 1926) is a former Irish Fine Gael politician.
 at Limerick District Court.

It is alleged he tried to have her killed on February 7 last year at an area between the Five Alley's pub in Nenagh, Co Tipperary, and Daly's Cross in Limerick.

Det Sgt Eamon O'Neill of Henry Street Garda station told the court the accused made no reply when charged.

Defence solicitor Christopher Lynch, told Judge O'Donnell his client was working as a trucker and was "effectively supporting two families".

The accused remained silent throughout the hearing.

Gardai, who applied to adjourn adjourn v. the final closing of a meeting, such as a convention, a meeting of the board of directors, or any official gathering. It should not be confused with a recess, meaning the meeting will break and then continue at a later time. (See: recess, session)  the case for one month pending the completion of the book of evidence, said they had no objection to bail subject to certain strict conditions.

Judge O'Donnell said he understood that the case would proceed to a higher court.

He ordered the accused must avoid all contact with his wife and that he surrender his passport to investigating gardai.

He was also ordered to sign on three times weekly at Killaloe Garda station.
