'John' Tops the List of Most Coveted Names on the Net, According to Netscape Email Charity Auction on eBay.

Out of the two hundred popular first names that were up for bid, "John" topped the list with a bid for $1,025.00. "Joe" followed at $500.00 while "Jennifer" came in third at $255.00. Men's names dominated the list, holding eight out of the top ten spots. In addition to their own personalized e-mail address, winning bidders also received a free year of the Netscape service membership. Total bids tallied $13,989.82.
