'Islamophobia' landed son in trouble, says father of arrested terror plot suspect.

Byline: ANI

London, Apr.13 (ANI): Family members of one of the arrested terror plot suspects have rejected their ward's involvement in suspicious activities, saying they came under the scanner due to their deep faith in Islam.

The father of one of the arrested students said his son was a victim of anti-Muslim discrimination.

"This is all about his prayers and his beard. I am his father and I know him. He is not involved in any mysterious plot," The Guardian quoted him, as saying.

He said his son is being falsely framed in the case and has done nothing against the rule of law.

"We have done nothing wrong. We have nothing to hide," the man added.

He also expressed his serious discontent over the 'misleading' reports appearing in newspapers following the raids.

He said they belong to Karak District For other uses, see Karak.

Karak is a district of the North-West Frontier Province, Pakistan. It is situated to the south of Kohat District and on the north side of Bannu and Lakki Marwat districts on the main Indus Highway between Peshawar and Karachi - it is 123 km from

"This is a great offence. We are from an old district, with educated people. Not the tribal belt," the man said.

Another suspect's uncle also denied his nephew's involvement in any 'terror plot' and urged the security agencies not to ruin his relative's future.

"We regularly used to send 800 pounds to 3,000 pounds to help pay for his studies. He was too ambitious about his life and his studies. He was not up to any mischief A specific injury or damage caused by another person's action or inaction. In Civil Law, a person who suffered physical injury due to the Negligence of another person could allege mischief in a lawsuit in tort. . So I say to the UK government, please don't spoil his future," he said. (ANI)
