'I'm GLAD Bill fired me..we wouldn't have been right for each other' THE APPRENTICE SARAH REVEALS ALL.

Byline: BY MAEVE QUIGLEY

FEISTY blonde Sarah Cowley says she's GLAD she has been fired from TV3's Apprentice.

The gorgeous 32-year-old who is originally from New Zealand New Zealand (zē`lənd), island country (2005 est. pop. 4,035,000), 104,454 sq mi (270,534 sq km), in the S Pacific Ocean, over 1,000 mi (1,600 km) SE of Australia. But the business woman revealed she didn't think she and Bill would make the right match in the workplace.

Sarah said: "I have gone back to my original job with Image Publications as it was held over for me.

"No one else had fitted the bill to replace me so I think I was fired just in time.

"In the current climate it's not the right time to be unemployed so I kind of feel for some of the others who gave up everything for it and are still looking for work.

"It was a great experience being on the show but especially at that last task I was finding it such a drain as it was so fruitless fruit·less

.

"It's nice to be back in the real world and have my own life back.

"At that point I had reached the stage that I wasn't for Bill and he probably wasn't for me.

"I don't think we would have seen eye to eye on everything had we begun working together."

Sarah admitted Bill's fury in the boardroom before he fired her was the angriest she had ever seen the billionaire.

She said: "He was really angry with all six of us and I thoughtmy time was up as the project manager I felt I would have to take responsibility and I was right.

"Bill is down-to-earth but you don't really get to know him as a person as you only really see him when you are in the hotseat. And fortunately for me I won seven out ofmy nine tasks. He's achieved a lot and I admire him for building up his business from nothing.

"But he's not the only person in Ireland - man or woman - to have started from nothing.

"He's got EUR EUR

She added: "Ireland is one of the few places where I never feel homesick home·sick

 in the boardroom.

She added: "The knives were flying, on the task itself everyone got on but when you are in the hot seat tensions do fly and people end up turning on each other.

"Shane has made some inappropriate comments and I'm sure half the time he didn't expect them to end up on TV. But a few of them went in on Monday night so it's sweet justice."

Sarah confessed she has no animosity towards Joanna who left the show under a cloud when it was discovered she had been cheating on a task.

She said: "I wasn't surprised about the cheating as Joanna was in her home town for that task. I didn't really like her in the boardroom but outside the boardroom we got on very well."

And bridal shop owner Brenda is getting Sarah's vote to win.

She added: "Brenda is really good, she'll definitely be in the final but I don't know if she's too independent and strong for Bill. "But I'd love to see Brenda win."

The Apprentice is back on TV3 at 10pm on Monday.
