Hinton's grand slam highlighted a five-run third inning for South cellar- dwelling High Desert (21-40), which dealt Lancaster its first loss in its first four games of its 17-game road trip.

Hinton's slam chased Doyle (0-2), who made his third exit in three innings or less in as many starts. Doyle is the first JetHawks pitcher to give up a grand slam this season.
