'HAMSTERS ON ICE' CASTING AUDIENCE.

VALENCIA - So inspired by the Valencia Ice Station's July 4 hamster hamster, Old World rodent, related to the voles, lemmings, and New World mice. There are many hamster species, classified in several genera. All are solitary, burrowing, nocturnal animals, with chunky bodies, short tails, soft, thick fur, and large external cheek  on ice races, Animal Planet is coming to the rink today to audition youngsters interested in being featured on the cable TV's segment on the newest rodent sport.

An open casting call for children, 6 to 10, will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Ice Station, 27745 Smyth Drive.

``They want kids who aren't camera-shy, who want to be on TV,'' Ice Station spokesman Gary Lane Australian chess player and author Gary W. Lane (born 1964 United Kingdom) is an International Master.

Gary Lane is a professional chess player and author, and is considered one of the leading chess authors in the world.
 said Thursday.

Kids don't need to bring hamsters - they will be provided. The segment will be filmed Wednesday and feature hamsters racing on the ice in acrylic balls, the children cheering them on.

Animal Planet heard about the Ice Station's hamster race fund-raiser for the Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672.  Boys & Girls Club Girls Club is a 2002 American television series created by David E. Kelley, who was also it's producer and executive producer. Only two out of a total of thirteen episodes created were broadcast on Fox Television in the United States and Global Television in Canada.  and wanted to get in on the action, Lane said.
