Nearly 200 Telfair Elementary School elementary school: see school.  kindergartners will jump-start their summer with "The Great MEND Send Off" today as MEND (Meet Each Need With Dignity -- www.mendpoverty.org) dedicates the day to its children and extends its 30th anniversary celebration.

The morning classes of kindergartners will arrive at MEND at 8:15 a.m., with the afternoon group beginning their activities at 11:45 a.m.
