The story follows the "rebirth" of Lucy (Kousi), a prehistoric woman who has spent millions of years suspended in cryogenic sleep in a glacier hidden deep inside the Hollywood Hills. Released from the ice by an earthquake, Lucy faces an alien world full of cars, skyscrapers, and superficial people. She finds a friend in David Horsenfelt (Parker), a kind-hearted but insecure executive at B&S Advertising, which is run by the ruthless Marvin Beckler (Thomas). David finds himself irresistibly drawn to Lucy even though he assumes she must be crazy. Accompanying David to a commercial shoot, Lucy catches the eye of flamboyant fashion designer Jean Michel (Kassir), who declares her the perfect woman to represent his new perfume, "Primal." She becomes the supermodel of the moment and inadvertently sparks a revolution encouraging people to reject meaningless fashions and love their bodies.
