'ELEPHANT MAN' TO START RUN AT AVC THEATER.

LANCASTER - Antelope Valley College Antelope Valley College is a comprehensive community college located in Lancaster, California, USA. It is operated by the Antelope Valley Community College District, with a primary service area of 1,945 square miles covering portions of Los Angeles and Kern counties.  will present ``The Elephant Man'' for the next three weekends in the college's Black Box Theatre, 3041 W. Ave. K.

The Tony Award-winning play tells the true story of John Merrick John Merrick may refer to:

Besides Stevensen, the production also stars Andrew James and Nicole Card.

The play won Tony Awards in 1979 for best play, best direction and best actress. Last year the play was revived on Broadway starring Billy Crudup.
