The 37-year-old told the Observer Magazine that she had strong feelings on the subject because of her history of helping addicts.

She said the rocker and his first wife Linda had smoked the drug every day "for the whole of their lives together" but added that she was not so keen.

"I would not get married to him if he was taking drugs. I hate it. I counselled people on drugs," she said.
