'Drug gang burnt house'.RESIDENTS in a housing estate claim a drug gang is behind a recent firebomb attack on a house which is up for sale. The property in Crecora Crecora is a small town located approximatelly 8 miles from Limerick city. The town itself has a shop and a post office. Their is a distinct sense of deprivation in the place due to the unacceptable level of plague in the surrounding area. The city has a port with two docks. , was set fire to last Monday. One resident, who did not wish to be named, said: "The gang said if they heard the house was being sold to anyone else they'd burn it down. "They are trying to drive property prices down in order to take the place over." A Garda spokesman could not confirm that the southside gang was responsible. |
