'Diversity in Advertising Career Day' Set for September 20th in New York City.

NEW YORK -- Diversity in Advertising Career Day (www.diacareerday.com), created to provide a forum where multi-cultural professionals can network and explore career opportunities in the advertising industry, will be held at the New York Hilton on Thursday, September 20, 2007, sponsored by Adweek, Brandweek, Mediaweek and Marketing y Medios magazines.

"Smart agencies, corporate advertisers and media have come to recognize the value to their bottom line by creating a diverse work force," said Wright Ferguson, executive vice president of sales at Adweek Magazines. "The staging of Diversity in Advertising Career Day provides them an unprecedented opportunity to locate, recruit and attract qualified candidates from culturally diverse communities."

Special 'Diversity in Advertising Careers' Sections in Adweek Magazines

To expand the impact and reach of the inaugural event, Mr. Ferguson said a special advertising opportunity will be offered -- a "Diversity in Advertising Careers" section to let event exhibitors and others deliver business-diversity messages to the entire readership of all Adweek Magazines.
