Vidiation, LLC Seeks $4M Equity Investment to Fund Production

LAKE ZURICH, Ill. -- Vidiation, LLC announced today it has engaged Cyrus Strategies, a Bethesda based Management Consulting firm, to help secure up to $4M in equity funding to bring its product to market.

The company developed a new, proprietary subscription-based software application, Vidiation -- Radiation Analytics Detection System (V-RADS[TM]). V-RADS uses information generated when high-energy gamma rays and particles interact with the image sensors of video surveillance cameras; a series of complex algorithms and expert system analyze data and identify radiation that may pose a security threat. The software has succeeded in every aspect of the R&D process, including multiple rounds of independent testing and validation at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Institute and at Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Labratory. Vidiation recently announced a grant from the Department of Homeland Security; the National Academies of Science awarded an earlier grant.

Vidiation debuted V-RADS at ASIS International (American Society for Industrial Security) in Las Vegas this past September. It was so well received, both prior to and at the show, the company has already signed up distributors and clients.
