Moldgreen's team, still missing a few regulars, fielded 10 players of which coach Donaghey had to juggle on and off the pitch throughout the match to keep the numbers even. Meltham quickly posted a couple of tries, catching Moldgreen asleep in defence. Then Matthew blazed into the corner for a confident Moldgreen opener and then the scores just kept coming. Jonny surged through for a great try, then Owen powered over. With great intelligence Jordan offloaded the ball before being taken down and Bailey made the catch and went over to score. Reuben then scored a storming try. Jordan turned attacker again for the team's sixth try. At half time the score was 24 each. 'Green then swooped in three consecutive tries without reply in the second half. Jordan again was responsible for the first two and Bailey scored the third. A break by Jonny was followed by a charging run from Caitlin who made space for Jordan to sweep into the top corner for the team's best try. The fifth try of the half saw Matthew find the corner again to rack up his second score of the match.
