[Comics: Berger, 48] See : Dimwittedness EDWARDS Chief Crime Correspondent A BRUTAL teenage gang threw a man from a train and left him fighting for his life - simply because he looked at them the wrong way. The senseless attack left the 61-year-old with a fractured skull and it is feared he could have serious brain damage. Witnesses told police three thugs picked on the victim after he caught their eye - which they took as a sign he was "dissing" them. They then hurled him out of a carriage as the doors opened at a station. The victim was found unconscious and covered in blood on the platform. His possessions were scattered around him, untouched. "Apparently he was minding his own business when they picked on him for the most trivial of reasons. "It appears something happened that caused him to look at them and they didn't like it. He was not robbed, they were not after his money or his wallet. We have witnesses who saw him being punched hard, full in the face. When the train pulled into the station he was hurled out on to the platform, where he hit his head. "The three attackers got off the train and fled. One was arrested nearby and we are looking for his accomplices."
