Cleveland Police is the Home Office police force responsible for policing the area of former county of Cleveland in North East England. helicopter was used in pursuit of the four men on two motorbikes from the Asda supermarket on Portrack Lane. The men, who have all been charged with theft, stole alcohol from the store just after 3am on Thursday. They were all Teesside's and aged 30, 27, 25 and 16.Two of the four were also charged with drink driving and theft of a motorbike. When the police arrived at the supermarket, the men fled on a Kawasaki 125 and a Yamaha off-road motorcycle.The helicopter tracked their movements. Two were arrested on Portrack Lane, while the other two made their way over the A19 and towards Billingham up Low Grange Avenue. Near to Billingham Cricket Club they abandoned the bike and continued to flee on foot until being caught by officers on Cowpen Lane.
