'Clwb Ifor Bach is what I love about Cardiff' JOIN THE ONLINE DEBATE.


On luxury flats destroying Cardiff's cultural venues The Clwb Ifor Bach Clwb Ifor Bach (English: Little Ivor's club) is a Cardiff Welsh-language club and community centre.

It is known to the Cardiff Welsh-speaking community as Clwb (Welsh: (The) Club); and often by others as
 is exactly what I love about Cardiff.

It has become a huge part of our cultural heritage.

I just hope that the planners and decision-makers will realise how important such places are.

Unfortunately, some of the decisions around the city show a lack of awareness of three dimensions - witness the height of some of the recent buildings in inappropriate locations - even including the more recent construction near City Hall.

I hope their awareness of culture is more advanced!

And the same goes for any other cultural venue or green area that is valuable to local communities that the developers have their avaricious av·a·ri·cious

Will Brown take us into the euro?

I dont think Gordon Brown would take UK into euro as a scorched earth policy Scorched Earth Policy

An anti-takeover strategy that a firm undertakes by liquidating its valuable and desired assets and assuming liabilities in an effort to make the proposed takeover unattractive to the acquiring firm.
. But he might do it as a last roll of the dice. If it is beginning to look like he cannot avoid defeat, he could take us into the euro to try and change the whole election debate.

Like the thinking, but under those circmstances if he is in that much trouble that he proposes the euro as a diversion, he's dead anyway.

I still believe IF (a big if) he does it, he will impose it on us saying he knows best. Wonder what odds you can get on it?
