First AOL(R)-Certified Enterprise IM 'Bot, 'Broadcast Buddy,' is adopted by Bright House Networks, a regional cable television and Internet service provider 

Tapping the enterprise potential of instant messaging (IM) 'bots and real-time applications to improve customer service and employee productivity is getting easier thanks to IMlogic's IM Linkage technology, which makes it easy to develop and deploy real-time IM and IM 'bot-based enterprise applications. Announced in February 2004, IMlogic's IM Linkage was the industry's first multi-network IM application system certified by America Online, Inc. for the development and deployment of enterprise-class instant messaging applications.

Regional cable television and Internet service provider Bright House Networks is using Broadcast Buddy to alert customer service representatives in real time about service outages as well as promotional offers they can use to up-sell customers on the phone. The company has 5,000 employees and serves 2.1 million subscribers scattered across Florida, Alabama, Indiana and Bakersfield, Calif.

The Bright House Broadcast Buddy is the first internal enterprise 'bot certified by AOL for operation on its networks, meaning that it has been tested for optimal performance on the AOL(R) Instant Messenger(TM) (AIM(R)) service.
