Paul Barsky began his Philadelphia radio career in 1982 when he was hired by WCAU-FM to host their morning drive. When Barsky left WCAU in 1985, his morning show, "Hot Hits," had turned into a ratings leader and was one of the most listened to Top 40 shows in the country. After WCAU, Barsky brought his talents to the Windy City, one of the nation's most competitive radio markets, where in two years at WLS-FM he took his morning show from 20th place in the ratings book to a 5th place ranking. After a brief stint in station ownership, Barsky longed to return to his first love, morning radio, and in 1991 he joined Houston's KRBE, hosting the morning drive show. Barsky returned to Philly in 1993 to take over the morning drive at WPLY, where he turned "The Barsky Show" into one of the market's top rated shows. He was most recently the morning host at WMMR.
