'Anthem Education Group' Unveiled as New Name for High-Tech Institute, Inc. and TCI Education, Inc.

Name Designed to Better Reflect Broad Focus of Nationwide Family of Schools

PHOENIX -- Phoenix, Ariz.-based High-Tech Institute, Inc. and TCI Education, Inc., the parent companies of 23 accredited post-secondary education institutions in 14 states, announced today that they have formally begun operating under the banner of Anthem Education Group (AEG). The company operates Anthem College, Anthem Institute, The Bryman School of Arizona, Morrison University, Allied College and High-Tech Institute.

The new name is part of a major brand re-design being undertaken by the company. The new name is designed to better evoke the full scope of its program breadth and its diplomas, associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees offered.

"The common goal of all of the Anthem Education Group schools is a commitment to providing the best education possible, thus improving students' quality of life through continuing education and rewarding careers," said AEG's Chief Executive Officer Bill Hillard. "The new name conveys to students a sense of cohesiveness, as an anthem is a song or motto taken up by a group with a common goal."

In addition to the new name, Anthem Education Group has undergone several significant changes in the past few months. Earlier this month the company announced its acquisition of Reno, Nev.-based Morrison University, a school with more than a century of history providing students with degrees in business, accounting, computer science and management. In January the company announced it had added several new leaders to meet the needs of students and the growing company, including key senior executives in the areas of marketing, finance, online learning and academic programs.
