'Account for Your Future' Scholarship Winners Announced by AccountingNet Solutions Inc., John Wiley & Sons and KPMG.

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 6, 1999--

AccountingNet Solutions, Inc., John Wiley & Sons and KPMG are proud to announce the winners of three scholarships, each worth $1,000: Alice Green, from Louisiana State University; Angela Kelley, from Arizona State University; and Doirin Eddy, from Mesa State College.

The program is a component of the AccountingStudents Web site (www.accountingstudents.com ), and is one of the first scholarship programs to be conducted entirely on the Internet.

A graduate-level accounting student, Green holds a 4.0 GPA and is a full-time mother and student. She is currently a graduate assistant (computer lab administrator) at the College of Business at LSU. Green plans to sit for the CPA exam in November and work with a local CPA following graduation. She also aims to earn a doctoral degree in accounting.

"Graduate school is very demanding -- and expensive!" said Green. "I really appreciate the `Account for your Future' scholarship program which will help with expenses during my last year of graduate work. I was also wondering where I would get the money to sit for the CPA exam this November, but thanks to the scholarship, I don't have to wonder anymore. Angela Kelley graduated summa cum laude in May with an accounting degree and a 3.75 GPA. She was awarded the Arthur Andersen Outstanding MACC Candidate Scholarship, the Dr. Huizingh Scholarship, the PriceWaterhouse Scholarship and the Regent's Award for undergraduate academic achievement.

Kelley aspires to earn a master's degree and work for a large public accounting firm.

The third recipient, Doirin Eddy, is a junior accounting and information technology major with a 3.97 GPA. Eddy plans to specialize in providing computer hardware and software, and accounting advice to small businesses of 100 employees or less.

"I look forward to the variety of businesses I will be active within and to the number and diversity of the people I will work with. The future is a challenge I will grasp with both hands and make mine!" Eddy said. "The `Account for Your Future' scholarship program is a wonderful opportunity for me. The "Account for Your Future" scholarship program is sponsored by AccountingNet, John Wiley & Sons and KPMG, and is run twice annually. This term's program drew more than 1,700 applicants worldwide.
