'ART' FOR ART'S SAKE CROWD-PLEASING COMEDY OPENS FRIDAY.Byline: Daily News NEWHALL - The comedy ``Art,'' written by Yasmina Reza Yasmina Reza (born 1 May 1959[1]), is a French playwright, actress, novelist and screenwriter. Shawn Mitchell is the stage manager, Charles Deuschle is the lighting designer, and Steve Berkholder is the sound designer. ``We've been blessed once again with a great cast and great people behind the scenes,'' Duswalt said. After a slow summer at the Rep, Duswalt hopes that a crowd-pleaser like ``Art'' will bring audiences back to the theater. ``Art'' will be presented at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays through Oct. 26 at the Rep, 24266 San Fernando Road San Fernando Road is a major street in the city and county of Los Angeles. It starts off in Castaic as The Old Road, passing through Santa Clarita and the Newhall Pass, where upon its intersection with Sierra Highway near the junction of the Golden State (I-5) and the , Newhall.
