FOR three years not a mouthful of food has passed Trudy Sharp's lips.

Trudy, 43, who has serious digestion problems, had her large and small bowel removed three years ago, and survives on liquid food fed directly into her system.

She said: "It's not easy watching everyone eat while I have a cup of tea."

Trudy, from Milton Keynes, Bucks, is waiting for a transplant which would allow her to eat normally again.
