'007 BANDITS' STRIKE AT BANK IN MARKET.

Two bank robbers who resembled villains from a James Bond movie robbed a La Crescenta bank at gunpoint Thursday, officials said.

The "007 Bandits" robbed the U.S. Bank inside Vons supermarket at 3233 Foothill Blvd. at 4:15 p.m., FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said Friday.

While one robber held a teller TELLER. An officer in a bank or other institution. He is said to take that name from tallier, or one who kept a tally, because it is his duty to keep the accounts between the bank or other institution and its customers, or to make their accounts tally.  at gunpoint - silently, like Bond villain VILLAIN., An epithet used to cast contempt and contumely on the person to whom it is applied.

The second robber either had silver-capped teeth or wore a silver grill on his teeth. FBI investigators nicknamed him Jaws, after a Bond villain who had silver teeth.

The robber nicknamed Odd Job is in his early 20s, 5-foot-8, 160 pounds with a mustache and goatee. His partner, Jaws, is in his early 20s, 5-foot-7, 160 pounds with silver teeth.
