''What's Hot and What's Not: How the National Media Covers South Florida Business;'' A Panel Discussion Hosted by WLRN Public Television.


MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 2, 1999--

On Friday, Aug. 6th, WLRN Public Television will host a panel discussion on how national media covers South Florida business.

The event will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel The Regency Hotel was a hotel in Denver, Colorado. Built in the 1960s to serve as a regional convention center, it was famous locally for its large gold dome and the luxury of the rooms within.  in Coral Gables Coral Gables, city (1990 pop. 40,091), Miami-Dade co., SE Fla., SW of Miami; inc. 1925. Founded at the height of the Florida land boom, Coral Gables is a noted planned city, with tree-lined boulevards and Mediterranean-style buildings.  beginning at 7:30 a.m. as part of the Beacon Council's monthly series of community breakfasts.

Moderating the panel will be Dr. Stephen Goldstein, host of WLRN Public Television's weekly business program - The Business Exchange. Participating on the panel will be Rick Bragg Rick Bragg (born July 26, 1959 in Piedmont, Alabama) won the Pulitzer Prize for Feature Writing in 1996 for his work at The New York Times.
