''Stan Fest'' to Raise Money for Seattle Ad Exec Diagnosed with Cancer.SEATTLE -- A fundraiser has been organized to benefit Seattle agency veteran, Stan Raymond, recently diagnosed with cancer. To assist Stan, an account manager at Sedgwick Rd., and his family during his recovery, a benefit concert will be held to raise money from the local advertising community.
WHAT: "Stan Fest" -- a one-time fundraising event featuring
local bands dH, Ultimate Rock Trio, Moongun and The
Plaintiffs. The event is being hosted by Sedgwick Rd.,
Publicis West and The Premier. Employees from both
Sedgwick Rd. and Publicis West are donating not only
money, but their time as well. A silent auction will also
be held, featuring goods and services from local Seattle
companies.
WHEN: Thursday March 23, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
WHERE: The Premier, located in SoDo one block south of Safeco
Field at 1700 First Ave. South. The Premier is one of
Seattle's hottest music clubs featuring a top-of-the-line
stage, full restaurant and bar, large dance floor and
plenty of parking.
HOW MUCH: A $20.00 donation is suggested. Tickets can be purchased
in advance through Mark Hatch at mark.hatch@sedgwickrd.com
and at the door the night of the event.
WHY: Stan Raymond was recently diagnosed with a serious form of
cancer, forcing Stan to take time off from work to focus
on his recovery. Proceeds from the event will assist Stan
and his family with medical costs and living expenses
while he is recuperating.
