Generally, every roof should be inspected twice per year for deterioration, breaks in seams, cracks, and blisters in the coatings. Each year, clean and inspect rain gutters, downspouts, skylights and flashings for leaks or holes. Never climb up on a roof unattended.

2. Metal Roofs - Old metal roofs should be coated at least once every two years and cleaned with a hose twice a year to remove debris.

3.
