''MetLife'' Signs Atop 200 Park Avenue to Be Relamped.


WHERE: MetLife Building, 200 Park Avenue, New York City

WHAT:  Lights inside the "MetLife" signs on the north and south
       sides of the MetLife building in New York City will be
       replaced. The maintenance work will not impact the east and
       west sides of the building. No other changes are being made to
       the existing signage on 200 Park Avenue.

WHEN:  In order to complete the work, the "MetLife" sign on the
       south side of the building will be dark from January 17, 2005
       through February 21, 2005. The "MetLife" sign on the north side
       of the building will be dark from February 21 through March 21,
       2005.


The "MetLife" signs on 200 Park Avenue have been in place since 1992.
