LODI, Calif. -- Lodi Wine Country announces the Second Annual "Lodi ZinFest -- Wine, Food and Fun at the Lake" May 19 - 21, 2006. Celebrating Lodi's heritage grape, Zinfandel, the Lodi ZinFest will showcase the extraordinary wines of California's newest fine wine destination, Lodi Wine Country.

Vintners' Grille at the Lake, 6 - 9 p.m. at Lodi Lake Park -- Raise a toast to Lodi's centennial anniversary as we kick-off the ZinFest Wine Festival Weekend. Enjoy a glass of wine with local vintners as they share a selection of Lodi's finest wines paired with a tasty barbeque dinner. The evening will conclude with the "Light Up the Lake" fireworks fireworks: see pyrotechnics.

ZinFest Wine Festival, 12 noon - 8 p.m. at Lodi Lake Park -- Taste wine from over 40 award-winning Lodi wineries and food from the region's best restaurants.
