The company is offering a trip for two to Glacier National Park for the best story and photo about visitors' adventures in the park.

The company is seeking stories and accompanying photos detailing a memorable visit and which captures a unique Glacier National Park experience. Submissions for the contest, called the Grand Glacier Escape Story and Photo Contest, will be accepted on their website until March 7, 2004. Once the story and photo have been posted, judges will be independent visitors to the GPI website at www.glacierparkinc.com. Visitors may go to the website anytime between March 13 and May 9 to vote for their favorite story.

"We have heard quite a few anecdotes through the years detailing our guests' wonderful experiences in and around the park. Having a contest to highlight some of these colorful accounts is a great way to reward our loyal customers with a free trip to Glacier," said Cindy Ognjanov, GPI's president and general manager.

On May 21, 2004 the winning story and photo will be announced via GPI's website and e-mail newsletter and posted in the historic hotels serviced by GPI in and around the park. The contest is open to entrants 18 years or older. Current GPI employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. The prize does not include taxes, gratuities and roundtrip travel expenses to and from Glacier National Park.

Submissions must be 500 words or less and accompanied by a photo in a .jpg or .gif digital format. The contest prize, valued at $2,185 includes a 6-day, 5-night tour through Glacier and Waterton National Parks, a boat cruise amid towering mountains, a tour of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation The Blackfeet Indian Reservation or Blackfeet Nation is an Indian reservation of the Blackfeet tribe in Montana in the United States.
