FLORIDA SPORTS PROFILES: CHRIS EVERT premieres Sunday, October 8, at 1:30 p.m. (ET) statewide on Sunshine Network. Encore presentations are scheduled for October 9, 11 p.m.; October 11, late night at 12:30 am; October 14, 8:30 p.m. (northern and central Florida only); and November 24, at 7:30 p.m. during the network's Thanksgiving weekend Florida Sports Profiles marathon.

Hosted by Paul Kennedy with Sunshine Network's tennis reporter Dave Kozlowski conducting the interviews, this program offers more than just a biographical study. It captures Evert's personal reflections on her career, the choices she made, both personally and professionally, and the effects those choices had on those closest to her.

Kozlowski spoke with family members, friends and tennis greats about their memories and their thoughts on what motivates Evert to be the best that she can be - a trait that followed her through 1,309 career victories and earning her the best winning percentage (.900) in pro tennis history. The program also captures Evert relaxing at home with her husband and children, cherished moments given her active schedule.

Included are exclusive interviews with former coach Dennis Ralston; tennis greats John Lloyd, Tracy Austin, Zina Garrison, and John McEnroe; famed tennis commentator Bud Collins; celebrities Regis Philbin and Donald Trump; her parents, sisters and brothers, and a moving and emotional segment with her husband, former Olympian Andy Mill.
