`Wal-Mart: What it Really Costs to Buy Cheap' Features Premiere of `Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price' and Presentation/Discussion Led by UC Berkeley Researcher Ken Jacobs.


WHAT:   Local premiere screenings of Robert Greenwald's documentary,
        "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price," plus a presentation by
        Ken Jacobs on "The Hidden Cost of Wal-Mart Jobs," followed by
        an open discussion.

WHO:    Elk Grove Peace & Justice Forum

PURPOSE:
        To inform the public about negative effects of the Wal-Mart
        business model on communities in which the firm does business.

The public is invited to both events.
