`WIVES' AGAIN FINISHES FIRST AT BOX OFFICE.

The spurned-spouse film ``The First Wives Club'' remained the top-grossing film in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  for the third consecutive week, industry sources said Sunday.

The revenge comedy about three ex-wives getting even with their former husbands stars Bette Midler, Diane Keaton and Goldie Hawn and earned an estimated $11.1 million in ticket sales.

Steven Seagal's new film, ``Glimmer Man,'' co-starring Keenen Ivory Wayans Keenen Ivory Wayans (born June 8, 1958 in New York City, New York) is an American actor, comedian, director and writer best known as the host and creator of the FOX sketch comedy series In Living Color , debuted in second place, with $7.6 million.

It edged out Tom Hanks' premiere as writer and director in ``That Thing You Do

'' which ranked third with $6.6 million. The movie, which also features Hanks onscreen on·screen or on-screen
