Principal photography has been completed in Toronto, Canada, on "The Ladies Man." The comedy stars Tim Meadows, Lee Evans, Will Ferrell, Karyn Parsons and Billy Dee Williams. Produced by Lorne Michaels, "The Ladies Man" is directed by Reginald Hudlin from a script by "Saturday Night Live" writers Tim Meadows, Andrew Steele and Dennis McNicholas. Robert K. Weiss, Erin Fraser and Thomas Levine are executive producers. The film will be distributed by Paramount Pictures, and is a presentation of a Lorne Michaels Production, in association with SNL Studios. Paramount Pictures is part of the entertainment operations of Viacom Inc. (NYSE:VIA) (NYSE:VIA.B).

Leon Phelps (Tim Meadows) is the grooviest, smooth talking, woman-chaser around. Known suitably to all as The Ladies Man, Leon hosts a popular late-night radio call-in show dispensing advice on affairs of the heart. After hundreds and thousands of conquests, Leon is the self-proclaimed expert on ... the ladies.

After being ejected from his job for one too many vulgar and inappropriate comments, he unsuccessfully seeks employment from every radio station in Chicago. Out of options, Leon receives a mysterious letter from his "true love" asking him to return to her -- and her money! Problem solved. All Leon has to do is figure out who she is. While he actively backtracks through his book of ladies, a posse of scorned husbands band together to hunt down the mysterious lover of their wives.

"The Ladies Man" is based on Tim Meadows' popular "Saturday Night Live" character of the same name. Others from the "SNL" family include Will Ferrell, Mark McKinney, Chris Parnell and producer Lorne Michaels, the creator and executive producer of "Saturday Night Live."

Tim Meadows began his ninth year of "Saturday Night Live" this fall, which also marked the 25th season of the legendary comedy show. "The Ladies Man" is Mr. Meadows' first starring role and first produced screenplay.

Prior to joining "SNL," Mr. Meadows was part of Chicago's improvisational comedy troupe, Second City where he won a loyal following for his sharp comedic talent. Mr. Meadows is acclaimed for his uncanny impersonations of such pop culture icons as O.J. Simpson, Johnnie Cochran, Ike Turner, Michael Jackson, Don King and Sammy Davis Jr.

Karyn Parsons is best known to television audiences as Hillary on the highly rated NBC series "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." Other television credits include the upcoming HBO film "Mixing Nia," and the FOX series "Lush Life." Her feature film work includes roles in "Major Payne" opposite Damon Wayans and the Kid `n' Play comedy "Class Act."

The irrepressible Lee Evans has been described by his critics as a "Norman Wisdom on acid!" He made his acclaimed debut in "Funny Bones" directed by Peter Chelsom. Mr. Evans' television projects include "The World of Lee Evans," a series of short comedy films for Channel 4 in Britain. The Scotland on Sunday hailed him as a "comic genius for the 90s." His film credits include the box-office hit "There's Something About Mary," "Mouse Hunt" and "The Fifth Element."

Billy Dee Williams' illustrious career and electrifying command of the screen includes starring roles in classic films such as "Lady Sings the Blues" opposite Diana Ross, George Lucas' "Return of the Jedi" and "The Empire Strikes Back," as well as the original "Batman." Television projects include "The Jacksons: An American Dream," the CBS movie "Courage" opposite Sophia Loren, several seasons as Brady Lloyd on "Dynasty," and the ABC award-winning telefilm "Brian's Song," which garnered him an Emmy nomination.

Will Ferrell can currently be seen in the feature film "Superstar" opposite his "Saturday Night Live" castmate Molly Shannon. His recent film credits include "Dick," "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me" and "A Night at the Roxbury." His other motion picture credits include roles in "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery," and the upcoming feature "The Suburbans" with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ben Stiller.

A member of the "Saturday Night Live" repertory company, Mr. Ferrell is probably best known as the tall, easy-going half of his and Chris Kattan's "Roxbury Guy" sketches. Before joining "SNL" he was a standup comic and a member of the Los Angeles-based comedy improv troupe The Groundlings.

Producer Lorne Michaels, an eight-time Emmy Award winner, is the creator and executive producer of the legendary "Saturday Night Live," which celebrates its 25th season this fall. His theatrical credits include the films "Superstar," "A Night at the Roxbury," "Wayne's World," "Wayne's World 2," "Tommy Boy," "Coneheads," and "Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy," as well as many comedy and television specials.

Director Reginald Hudlin was studying at Harvard University when he wrote and directed a twenty-minute thesis film, which formed the basis for his first feature, "House Party." Released in 1990, "House Party" was both a critical and commercial hit, earning several awards at the Sundance Film Festival, creating a franchise, with two sequels, a Saturday morning cartoon, and a comic book. Mr. Hudlin next directed the romantic comedy "Boomerang" starring Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence, David Alan Grier, Chris Rock, Geoffrey Holder, Robin Givens, Grace Jones, Eartha Kitt, and Halle Berry, and the boxing satire "The Great White Hype" starring Samuel L. Jackson, Jeff Goldblum, Damon Wayans, Peter Berg, Jamie Foxx, Jon Lovitz, Cheech Marin, Rocky Carroll, and Corbin Bernsen.
