Gary Auer, special agent for the Ventura office of the FBI, said investigators believe that ``the typed-note bandit'' was responsible for the robbery. Auer said the man is wanted in connection with four other bank robberies in Ventura County this year and more than 30 others in Southern California dating back more than a year.
