`SHOOTING SIZEMORE' LEAVES ONE SKEPTICAL.Byline: David Kronke Television Critic As Michael Richards or Britney Spears can attest, having cameras following you around is not necessarily a good thing. ``Shooting Sizemore'' is, like its spiritual predecessor ``Breaking Bonaduce,'' TV for the sole purpose of seeking out a train wreck, with a willing conspirator conspirator n. a person or entity who enters into a plot with one or more other people or entities to commit illegal acts, legal acts with an illegal object, or using illegal methods, to the harm of others. aching to empty the contents of his battered heart as wrenchingly as any teenage girl with a diary. ``I had the dream -- my dream -- and I turned it into a nightmare,'' Tom Sizemore announces early on, adding that his addiction to crystal meth and heroin sent him on ``a downward spiral that nearly ended me.'' (The series includes footage shot by Sizemore himself as he did drugs and leapt into chemically induced rages; ``I decided to document my own downfall,'' he explains.) ``Shooting Sizemore'' begins as the actor exits rehab. Unmitigated; unqualified: a thoroughgoing villain. meltdown from the comfort of one's own living room, it's not exactly edifying as presented here. Sizemore doesn't come off as particularly reflective, and he doesn't have a sense of humor Noun 1. sense of humor - the trait of appreciating (and being able to express) the humorous; "she didn't appreciate my humor"; "you can't survive in the army without a sense of humor" sense of humour, humor, humour that served as a mitigating factor in Danny Bonaduce's series. Besides, the series seems disingenuous in its dramatization dram·a·ti·za·tion n. 1. The act or art of dramatizing: the dramatization of a novel. 2. A work adapted for dramatic presentation: of Sizemore's dire financial straits: He is, after all, being compensated for his participation here, and a quick check at imdb.com lists his work in no fewer than 24 different projects since 2004. He's not so broke that he can't put himself up in a Santa Monica hotel with a view of the ocean. Hence, ``Shooting Sizemore'' emerges as something of a new breed of television: a cynical cry for help.
