OPENING THIS WEEK

Considered one of Simon's best comedies, "Rumors" is set in the early 1990s as several affluent couples gather in a posh suburban residence for a dinner party. The set design is by Campbell, and the costumer is Gail Rapp.

Performances are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and Oct. 22-25, Oct. 29-Nov. 1; and Nov. 6-7. Curtain is at 8 p.m., except for the 2 p.m. Sunday matinees. All shows are at the theater, 2350 Hilyard St.

Reserved seat tickets are $14 ($10 on Thursdays). Senior citizens may attend any of the three Sunday matinees for $10. For tickets, call 344-7751.

An opening night gala with refreshments will follow this Friday's show.
