The opening reception for the exhibition "Palekh, From Icons to Souvenir Boxes to Icons" took place at the Museum of Russian Icons The Museum of Russian Icons opened in October 2006 in Clinton, Massachusetts, United States.

The Museum was created by collector Gordon Lankton to house his extensive collection of Russian icons.
