`PATCH,' `LIFE' ANGEL NOMINEES.Byline: - City News Service The films ``Patch Adams'' and ``Life Is Beautiful'' and six CBS television shows, including ``Touched by an Angel'' and ``Becker,'' were among the nominees announced Wednesday for the 22nd annual Angel Awards. The awards are designed to honor television shows and motion pictures ``whose subject matter reflects positive family values,'' said spokesman Henri Bollinger. ``Entries are not judged in competition with others,'' added Mary Dorr, president of Excellence in Media, the group that sponsors the awards. ``Each show is selected based on production quality and its moral and/or social impact, she said. The awards will be handed out at a Feb. 25 ceremony to be hosted by Steve Allen and Jayne Meadows at the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel. The nominees for Best Motion Picture are: ``You've Got Mail The audio announcement heard millions of times per day by AOL users.
