The network won last week's prime-time ratings race with the month's biggest hit, ``Noah's Ark Noah’s Ark

The second part of the NBC miniseries, aired last Monday, was the week's second most-watched program behind ``ER.''

But Sunday's NBC miniseries, ``The Hunt for the Unicorn Killer,'' didn't do nearly as well. The story about convicted fugitive Ira Einhorn was beaten soundly in the ratings by CBS' movie ``The Simple Life of Noah Dearborn,'' which starred Sidney Poitier.

And the drama ``Law & Order'' reached its biggest audience since March 1997 with last Wednesday's episode, where movie star Roberts was the guest.

Five of the week's top eight shows were from NBC's Thursday night lineup. Yet even that was a mixed blessing: It was the lowest-rated Thursday evening of first-run shows for the network since 1994.

For the week, NBC had a 9.9 rating and 17 share. CBS was second with a 9.0 rating and 15 share, ABC ABC
